Rainy and cold in Gotham

It’s one of those days that I love going out so that I can experience the feeling of warm bliss when I come home again. I strolled the farmers’ market this morning and walked by the Christmas tree vendors just to sniff the pine needles. I’m thinking of foraying out again for dinner. The weather reports say we might get snow and I want to be out there for the first flake. Yeah, I know, it must be a Canadian thing.

In other news I bought a new laptop. It’s a Toshiba Satellite with a candy apple metallic red shell and it purrs like a kitten with a V8 engine under the hood. It comes pre-loaded with Windows 7 and so far it’s been a breeze to use. I doubt it will help me write any faster, but I figure I’ll look at least 20% cooler as I do.

    We do that in New England, too *g*

    Congrats on the new laptop. It sounds beautiful. And 20% cooler definitely counts for something!

      I’ve got it up to 18.3% cooler so far just by opening it. Once I figure out how to turn it on I should hit 20% 🙂

    Wow, metallic red, that’s zooming! So IEIII will be zooming, right 😛

    Oh, and we had our first few very very…erhm, very light snow flakes last night 😀

      I’m hoping that’s the causal effect. I do feel energetic when I start typing on it.

      The flakes are falling! Long live the flakes! 🙂

    *throws you some snow from Quebec city* Take my snowflakes, I don’t want em.. Take the cold that goes with it too.

    I am a warm-blooded creature ;_; I should like, hibernate or somethin. Cold sucks ._.;

      I’ll gladly take your snow flakes! I miss the snow. I lived in Ottawa and Orleans for 10 years and I must admit that I was starting to get tired of the sub sub zero temperatures and 50 foot high snowbanks (well, that’s how I remember it) but now that I’m down south here in New York City I hardly see snow at all.

      Think warm thoughts 🙂
