I’ve been working with a terrific artist named Julio Seisdedos to create a group shot of most of the main characters in the series and I’m pleased to finally be able to unveil it.
At the moment, a portion of this is visible on the banner on the website, but eventually I plan to have the whole drawing up along with details about the characters.

Glad you like them both. I make a lot of rough sketches myself so I finally decided to get some real pros to bring them to life.
Great artwork, Chris. How did you become acquainted with Julio?
I met Julio (and Stephen who did the bookplate design) on the deviantart website. If you haven’t checked it out before it’s definitely worth a look. There are thousands of artists on the site displaying their work. I browsed through it and found a couple I really liked.

Chris I found your book last year on my way to Thailand last December, my wife is a avid reader. I read mainly when I travel but, I was so engrossed in your book I could not wait to come home and post about it. When the Burning Shadows came out I had a copy the day it hit the market. I picked it up went home opened a beer sat on the on the reading chair until it was finished.
I have been checking back often to see when your third book will hit the market. You’re doing a fantastic job with this new world. Thank you for jumpstarting my reading bug again. I just finished Markus Heitz’s the Darves, and am almost done with war of the dwarves. Then I’ll be waiting on Mark’s third installment as well.
I’ll be flying all over the country again this holiday season seeing family, any chance I’ll have frost fire flowing through my brain as I turn the pages of book 3?

That’s great to hear. I like the picture of one of my books being read with a beer. The lads would approve, especially Yimt.
I haven’t read Dwarves, but I like the idea of fantasy centered around them. Normally, and I include my series in this, authors use dwarves as part of the supporting cast.
The third book is due out next June/July so not in time for the holidays this year. Hopefully everyone thinks it’s worth the wait. I will be posting a new teaser chapter at some point in the coming months though.
