To say I am madly anticipating the debut of the LOTR series is an understatement. While I loved the LOTR movies I wasn’t a huge fan of the Hobbit movies although I was still entertained and enjoyed being immersed in the world. I have high hopes for this new series. Friday the 13th is still a Friday, so how bad can it be? Monday, however, is always a Monday no matter what the calendar date. Garfield (the cat, not the president) famously said “I hate Monday’s”. The Boomtown Rats were clear they don’t like Mondays, enough to sing about it. Liver and onions were invented on a Monday (ok, that last one is speculative).

Friday is, well, Friday. It’s the end of the week and the start of the weekend. Other than some maniac in a goalie mask with a machete what’s not to love?
